On May 30th 2008 DLoG (UK) Ltd officially became part of the Kenard Engineering Group. Effective immediately, the company will become part of the Software division of Kenard Engineering, alongside Seiki Systems Ltd. DLoG (UK) Ltd will continue to supply the same range of hardware and software, and to continue to represent DLoG GmbH in the UK by distributing its highly successful range of industrial and vehicle mount computers. In the future the change will lead to us extending our product range with the introduction of new and exciting products and services.
Fast connection for Linux industrial PCs
DLoG GmbH, market leader in industrially capable vehicle mount computers, is expanding its Linux competence and its terminal solution offers based on open operating systems. Together with Göttingen based emlix Gmbh, the terminal specialists from Olching have developed a high-performance WLAN driver and an WPA module (WiFi Protected Access Supplicant). These open source developments guarantee a clear improvement in WLAN connections of warehouse vehicles such as forklifts or picking wagons. The Linux developments offer DLoG customers not only a plus in terms of additional reliability and future security, but also reduce license costs and IT expenses at the same time.
