DLoG XMT 5/7: the latest DLoG Industrial PC

Robust, compact, and still packed with the latest technology, the DLoG XMT 5/7 is the ideal vehicle mount terminal for smaller spaces. This terminal is ideal for use on a fork lift truck as a vehicle mount terminal for warehouse applications, on a heavy duty machine (e.g. excavator) as a controlling device or in a truck as navigation and communication device. Where used, the DLoG XMT 5/7 is the perfect companion because it communicates using any modern interface and it is so compact that it is easy to mount it within any driver's cabin.

Thanks to the high contrast and resolution of its robust 7" display, it is still easy to read any application, and the DLoG touch screen sensor makes it easy to operate. The DLoG XMT 5/7 uses the new features of the operating system used - Windows CE 6.0 - and passes the advantages of the new OS on to the user. For example, Windows CE 6.0 now supports TCP/IP perfectly, expands and improves the file system, and extends its support for WLAN (WPA2). As a Windows CE-based system, it comes very close to a thin client, thus offering the ideal platform for the lowest possible total cost of ownership.

Communication on all channels
The XMT 5/7 leaves no gaps in its communications options, whether wireless data communication using WLAN or WWAN, whether mobile positioning using GPS, connection to CAN bus systems or connection to wired LAN, the DLoG XMT 5/7 supports all these communication options. This makes the XMT 5 the ideal terminal for a forklift, which has limited space available for installation, but also for trucks or heavy duty machinery, where reliable data communications are needed remotely from any WLAN or other local infrastructure.

Robust truck terminal
The computer, built to work reliably for the long term on a forklift with no suspension, can reliably handle the requirements of truck installation. The XMT 5/7 was designed to specifications even more demanding than the American military requires (shock and vibration, MIL 810F). Independent laboratories have confirmed the high quality of the XMT 5/7, meaning it has achieved the same high level of quality as the "classical" forklift terminals by DLoG. The XMT 5 faces an even higher demanding environment within the heavy duty applications, such as a controlling device on dumpers, scrapers, mining trucks etc.
